Why you need and what is a Ship Modeling Kit

Built in various sizes, you may have seen a variety of modeling kits as a scale modeler. You may have wondered how does it differ from a standard custom model case and seen a custom model kit. Compared to a standard model case this article offers you a brief overview of a modeling kit.

To allow display of their items for years now, I’ve been building custom model cases for scale model builders and collectibles and I needed to develop wooden sailing ship model kits form of case after having some requests for very large cases.

The reason for this was to be able to ship the case by usual means like UPS or the US Postal Service and not to save cost. On how large a box can be shipped they have size restrictions, and to come up with some new ideas this made it necessary.

The marisstella ship model kits requires no glues or tools to assemble and comes with everything needed. It stands on its own and it becomes self-supporting when it's put together. To hold the acrylic sheets that make up the sides, back and front there are solid oak corner pieces and is the solid oak base.

A framed oak top holds it all together when placed onto the assembled case. For the scale model builder, this produces a museum quality case that provides a classic furniture quality display atmosphere and is both shippable with that "really big model."

The kit comes with everything you need, which is the main benefit of a custom kit is and from a local supplier there is no need to purchase glass. I feel using glass tends to present potential problems where accidents or children could be seriously hurt if while wandering hands feel and touch glass was broken and there was an accident.

If you need to display and protect that one of a kind model for ship modeling in marisstella it’s worth considering.

A variety of custom model cases are produced by various vendors produce, however, to limited sizes they are constrained. This problem is eliminated by the kit approach and your model kit is a snap will be ensured using the right kit from the right model case manufacturer construction!
